Gabriela Winicki

Mi trabajo parte de la observación del mundo como un entramado en constante transformación. A través de diferentes series, exploro las tensiones entre lo ancestral y lo contemporáneo, entre lo social y lo íntimo, entre el caos y la posibilidad de equilibrio para hablar de aquello que nos constituye: la energía vital, la memoria, la fragilidad y la necesidad de conexión. Me interesa construir mapas emocionales y sociales, donde se inscriben las huellas de nuestra época.

 

Los grafismos inventados, los signos y los trazos repetidos son lenguajes de un territorio simbólico que habla de la cultura, de la comunicación y de sus límites.  En cada obra busco que convivan la densidad y el silencio, lo visible y lo sugerido, lo racional y lo intuitivo. Mi práctica se sostiene en la convicción de que crear es un acto de percepción y de conciencia, una forma de pensar y de sentir al mismo tiempo. En este universo, el arte se vuelve una herramienta para reflexionar sobre quiénes somos, cómo habitamos y qué dejamos tras nuestro paso.

My work begins with the observation of the world as a network in constant transformation.
Through different series, I explore the tensions between the ancestral and the contemporary, the social and the intimate, chaos and the possibility of balance, to speak of what constitutes us: vital energy, memory, fragility, and the need for connection.
I am interested in constructing emotional and social maps where the traces of our time are inscribed.

The invented grafisms, signs, and repeated marks function as the language of a symbolic territory that speaks of culture, communication, and its limits.
In each work, I seek the coexistence of density and silence, the visible and the suggested, the rational and the intuitive.
My practice rests on the conviction that creating is an act of perception and awareness, a way of thinking and feeling at the same time.
In this universe, art becomes a tool for reflecting on who we are, how we inhabit the world, and what we leave behind in our passing.
